Group Photo - Virtual

Since we all live in the ducky diaspora, let's create a group photo. But let's do it all virtual-like.
- Grab the photo on g+ here.
- Add yourself by using:
- photobooth Effect -> "Drop Background Here"
- photoshop
- aviary.com
- Repost the new image
- Repeat

@whytheam it's a two dimensional image and the Z-axis is nearly limitless. There's loads of room in front and in back.@thorn at least you and @KevinElliotChi are also wearing black.

Forgive my ignorance, but how does one upload an image here?

@DVWhat look for the little picture in the WYSIWYG editor in the top right
click on it and there will be a text box to enter the url of the image
of course you must first have the image out there on the web somewhere. I just use my g+ account. Right click on it and copy the URL. Paste it here and voila! -

Yayyy! So far we've got enough to round out a decent band. ("decent" being entirely subjective).We need some more takers to fill up some space, otherwise, successive rounds will have to resort to speech bubbles - which could actually make this really, really funny.

Ok. I'm a musician, ignorant to graphic design tools. Are there any free non-Photoshop programs available for Macs I can use for this?

@NicholasKelley I'm on a mactop and i just used Aviary, as AJ suggested in the OP. Speaking of which, thanks for said link @AwedJob! I've been playing with that all day!

@NicholasKelley I am also a non-graphically inclined musician. As @transien hinted at, I use Gimp. It's open-source (i.e. free) and available at http://www.gimp.org

I attempted to use Photo Booth for this and the results were absolutely terrible (hence my lack of contribution).

@triiku sure thing! They have an audio editor called Myna. I want to come up with a project that utilizes that tool.

@AwedJob from the number of musicians I've seen so far, you could easily do collaborative music. Record a guitar riff, or drum beat, and then upload. Add to it, and create instrumental fun. Woo!
